Getting Your Real Estate Life Together: Q&A with Sold Sisters

Name, Location and how long have you been an Agent

Ashley Yates and Holly Schmidt, AKA the "Sold Sisters" have been serving Ocala/Marion County in the Sunny State of Florida with combined experience of nearly 20 years.

How do you stand apart from other agents?

The "Sold Sisters" is a partnership driven by customer service and life long relationships that do not end at the closing table.

What is the key to attaining long-term clients?

We treat each client as if they were family and you will feel the Southern HOUSE-pitality that the south offers when we share the home buying or selling process.

What marketing method is most effective for you and why?

We live in a small community and a lot of the folks that we represent come to us, because maybe we have helped a family member or a friend. Outside of word of mouth, Social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkenIn allows for us to showcase our listings, what is happening in our local Real Estate market, as well as the relationships that we earn along the way.

What routine do you implement in your daily real estate life?

A recent routine that the "Sold Sisters" have started is we walk early in the morning. This gives us time to chat about the business, go over our current transactions and share in life with each other. We are always looking for ways that we can be better people, moms, wives, Realtors and leaders.

What are your DO's & DON'TS when it comes to conversation starters?

Definite Do's-With the current market condition, set the level of expectation with buyers and sellers alike and have open conversations of the competitiveness. Definite Dont's- Downplay the buyers or sellers wants or needs in the Real Estate transaction.

Which goals are you looking to achieve this year and what will it take to meet them?

We are focused on building the brand of Magnolia Homestead Realty this year. We are looking to share our knowledge with agents as they grow in the industry.

What's one piece of advice you would give a new agent?

Hang on TIGHT! We always encourage agents to interview at numerous brokerages to see where they fit the best, personally and professionally and weigh out the pro's and con's.
